Covenant
The king of the dwarves has finally issued this order to the houses of each clan: Reclaim Karrak-sür-Kazar, the sacred mountain and ancestral home of the dwarves. Since the first Age of the Beard, it has been occupied by the poison of the dark lords, their creatures defiling the halls that once housed the noblest of all dwarves.
In Covenant, each player is the chief of a dwarven clan that has accepted the pact to reclaim the dwarves' ancestral home. Explore its ancient halls and expel enemies during the players’ clan turns, assigning each clan's dwarves to different tasks. Dwarf tokens and tools allow players to perform all kinds of actions: excavate the mountain, defeat enemies that dwell there, and construct different buildings that will bring light back to the ancient halls.
When players have resolved their clan turns, they will meet in council, at which point they will recover their dwarves, gain advantages, and gain glory points for various aspects of the game.
Over the course of three rounds, called eras, each clan contributes to the reconstruction of the lost city. At the end of the game, the clan with the most glory will receive the monarch's recognition and victory.
Covenant can be enjoyed solo or in games for up to 4 players, in sessions lasting approximately 100 minutes.
